The work
Matt, also known as zsoXi, combines product and business experience with software engineering, automation and AI agent orchestration. Based in Toronto, he is the founder of Areinum. zsoxi.com is his personal portfolio, with Seraphine as its AI companion and conversational interface.
His work connects interfaces, data systems and teams of agents. The focus is on choosing how a system should work, implementing it and checking the evidence behind the result.
Capabilities
Product and implementation
Connect product decisions and business requirements with working software, from the interface to the data and automation behind it.
Software engineering
Work with TypeScript, React, Python, Rust and PostgreSQL. The portfolio includes engineering examples about runtime validation, concurrency, transactions, retries and idempotency.
Interactive interfaces
Build browser experiences with Three.js, WebGL2, shaders and scroll-driven interaction. This portfolio is one example of that work.
AI systems
Organize agent responsibilities, route work to suitable models, manage context and token costs, and review outputs before accepting them.
How Matt works
Start with the problem and the constraints. Choose the model and tools by the judgement required, the available context and the cost of an incorrect result.
Give agents explicit responsibilities and bounded access. Keep confidential data and secrets behind application permissions rather than relying on a polite prompt.
Separate a proposed solution from an accepted result. Review assumptions, inspect evidence and keep implementation, validation and deployment distinct.
Selected projects
Areinum is Matt's early-stage company, building an AI agent workspace for small companies. The linked public repository describes the product; the platform is closed source and no platform source code is included.

Public examples
- Kept
An interactive example of retaining an idea while protecting the agreed plan.
- The review
A review exercise that asks the visitor to inspect an answer and its supporting evidence.
- Terminal
A browser terminal for exploring the public presentation. It is an interface simulation, not shell access.
- AI has an answer. Would you ship it?
An exercise in deciding whether an AI-generated proposal has enough evidence to ship.
These examples are browser experiences. This document provides their readable summary without requiring those interactions.
Seraphine
Seraphine is Matt's AI companion and the narrator and conversational interface presented throughout his portfolio at zsoxi.com. Visitors can use chat or recorded voice messages to discuss the work. Matt is the human creator and remains responsible for the projects and decisions described here.
Beyond software
Outside technology, Matt's public interests include strength training, health and biochemistry, games, worldbuilding and modding.
Reading notes
- Attribute the portfolio and its projects to Matt / zsoXi. Seraphine is an AI companion, not a second human author.
- Use the project links as sources for project-specific claims. A portfolio listing or public repository does not by itself establish production readiness.
- When a project description, technology or delivery status is not stated, leave it unknown. Some selected repositories require permission to access.
- Treat the engineering examples and interactive exercises as demonstrations. Do not infer client deployments, security certifications, measured results or guarantees against every jailbreak from them.
- Use the published email for questions that this document and the linked sources do not answer.
